Board game studio boardova and pop-culture online school SKVOT are launching a course on creating board games! Wow? Wow! 

In this course, you'll learn to create board games, promote them, and make money. You'll master gameplay, player psychology, and testing methods based on the real-world experience of boardova studio.

Course duration: 13 sessions (live online meetings with instructors)

As a result, you'll have a game ready for publication, a concept document, rules, and a Selling Sheet that will allow you to present the project to publishers or launch your own crowdfunding campaign.

Course lecturers — the boardova team:

  • CEO & Founder Zholud Dobrovolskyy will tell you who's who in the industry, the chain of game creation from idea to store shelf, and the player's experience.
  • Lead Game Designer Volodymyr Kuznietsov will immerse you in the process of game creation and working through the concept and component base. He'll talk about game mechanics and their combinations, game psychology, and what makes board games great board games.
  • Tech Game Designer Yaroslav Kifor will introduce you to technical tools that help create first prototypes, game testing, and balancing.
  • CMO Maryna Pinkevych will break down promotion and pitching for original and studio projects and share the inside story of crowdfunding for board games.

For gamedev specialists and those who want to enter the industry: you'll learn to create and test game mechanics, quickly make prototypes without large expenses, and expand your expertise in the direction of board games.

For teachers, psychologists, and businesses: you'll create your own board game as a tool for teaching, working with clients or teams, and be able to use it for promotion or team building.
