While our board game is still printing, we prepared a couple of prototype copies for different occasions – such as these events, for example. A great opportunity for the boardgame geeks to test the game, while waiting for their preorder. 
  
Together with our partners, we’ve organized two game nights: first at the board game club/shop “Octopus” on Oct. 10th, and second – at the board game shop Gavial on Oct. 21st. 
  
These events helped us realize a few things. 
  
First, although the game is cute and cheerful, adults are fascinated with it no less than with more mature-themed games. 
  
Second, perhaps, when we determined the age rating for the “Aridnyk” we might underestimated our younger audience. We thought the full game would be appropriate for kids over 10, and a family game mode would be OK for kids of 8+. But the youngest player in one of the events was just 6! 
  
Of course, the game can be a bit difficult for younger ages – it contains a lot of text on cards and requires planning – but it can be played by kids, with the support of their parents. 
  
Bright and cute illustrations as well as unique lore of the game, fancy characters, and cute sheep tokens will surely draw the player’s attention despite age.
